Ahhhhh, I have a tae kwon do tournament tomorrow, and I'm just soooooo nervous. It's my first time competing, though I've been to numerous before to watch my friend compete, so I have a pretty good handle on what goes on there. I guess it's just that I've always been a pretty nervous person since.... forever, really, about publicly presenting anything of mine. I'm scared I'll mess up, trip, look stupid.... It doesn't help that I'm only a yellow belt, which doesn't bolster my slef-confidence any. No one's advice seems very reassuring either. -___-

I'm competing in forms, one steps (as a substitute to sparring), and weapons. I've never been good at the pror two, but I like to think I'm pretty damn good at weapons for a low-rank. I love playing around with my staff (what I'm competing with), and I came up with a form for it all on my own to compete with. Despite all that, I feel like I'll look stupid. XP

Really, in spite of all the nerves, I'm hoping to score first in everything. I'm not really sure why.... I guess I kinda wanna be able to rub it in my mother's face since she seems so disconnected from me since I left home. Sorta one of those "look what you lost" things. It makes me feel a bit shallow, but, hey, I don't place all the blame on her at least.

On a brighter note, I'm gonna go to kareoke after the tournament with meh girlies~ ^^ It'll be fun, though I'm not sure if I'll sing or not. Another one of those "public presentation" things.
